Paul Taylor AKA Polargeek is a Canadian based IT and Home Automation consultant.
With over 20 years of experience in large and small business networks. I have recently branched out into Home Automation AKA “Smart Homes” as I feel this is the next frontier in networking and connectivity.
I believe cloud and local systems both have a purpose and should co-exist depending on different needs.
I am a loud proponent of teaching people to help themselves. Knowing your own systems, how they work and where the control lies. These are critical to systems security and integrity.
Feel free to check out my blog posts on home automation, communications, control technologies and software.
